We know that behind every student profile is a real child, a real family, and real trust placed in us. That trust is not something we take shortcuts with.
What this means for you: When you see a GoTutify badge on a tutor's profile, it means a real human at our team has reviewed, verified, and approved that educator. Not an algorithm. Not a checkbox. A person.
Your Child Will Never Need to Share Their Phone Number
On most tutoring platforms, finding a tutor means handing over your personal contact details to a stranger. Not on GoTutify.
All communication between students, parents, and tutors happens exclusively inside our secure, monitored in-app messaging system. No WhatsApp numbers. No personal emails. No direct phone calls outside the platform — unless you choose to share them yourself, after trust is established.
Every conversation is subject to our Community Safety Policy. Our system flags inappropriate language, unprofessional conduct, and any communication that does not meet our standards. Tutors found in violation are suspended immediately, pending review.
Your family's privacy is protected by AES-256 encryption — the same standard used by international banks. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal data. Ever.

No safety system is perfect. What matters is how quickly and seriously concerns are addressed when they arise. If a parent, student, or tutor reports an issue on GoTutify, here is exactly what happens:
Step 1 — Immediate acknowledgement
Your report is logged and you receive confirmation within 1 hour through the platform.
Step 2 — Account suspension
If the report involves a serious concern, the tutor's account is suspended within 24 hours pending investigation — not after. Before.
Step 3 — Review by our Safety Team
Our dedicated trust and safety team reviews all evidence including session notes, messages, and profile history.
Step 4 — Resolution and communication
You are kept informed throughout. If the concern is upheld, the tutor is permanently removed. If it is not, we explain why in full.
We do not bury reports. We do not protect tutors at the expense of students. And we do not close a case until the family is satisfied.
